Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was anxious about the upcoming change in health insurance as am 65 soon and Medicare is on the horizon. I had expressed my dread about this decision to a friend at church. She recommended Theresa because she had assisted her in decision and was grateful. I contacted Theresa via email. She called me back the next day. My current health insurance had just sent me information about an automatic enrollment, a Medicare Advantage Plan, through the same company. I wasn't sure about this automatic enrollment. Perhaps I wanted to look at other companies. Theresa talked about some basics about Medicare and Medicaid over the phone. She recommended that I make a couple of calls to clarify facts regarding eligibility with Medicaid and PCP medical practice acceptance of this insurance. I made the calls and updated Theresa. We made an appointment to talk more. It was actually a Zoom meeting, which she patiently helped me log onto. Then she brought up the plan my current health insurance had presented to me. Theresa went through it with me, showing the benefits on my computer screen. She explained that the summary of benefits had more details than the plan specifics that come up initially. My intention was to compare with a couple other Medicare Advantage but decided to allow the auto-enrollment to Medicare with my current health insurance company. Theresa was cool with that and said that if I ever wanted to change insurance or if I had any questions, she was available to help me. I very much appreciate her professionalism and knowledge of the insurance world. Theresa was very accommodating to my schedule too. She made me feel like I was important to her. Donna S.

Over two months, I called Excellus customer service twice about the issue and no one called back to resolve the issue. Theresa contacted me to organize a 3-way call to CMS which resolved the issue.
