About
Theresa Cangemi, Medicare Insurance Specialist, Independent Agent, and Consultant
With an extensive background and history in the insurance industry, Theresa Cangemi became a Medicare Insurance Specialist in 2008 in order to help the Medicare-eligible population understand the many facets of Medicare. Theresa provides personal service, educating clients to help them choose the right Medicare insurance plan for them. New York State and Florida licensed, Theresa is well-equipped to help clients navigate Medicare insurance plans, details, costs, penalties, and other confusing aspects of Medicare insurance choices in a non-threatening, sharing, and informative person-to-person process.
With so much constantly changing including information, picking a total Medicare insurance package can be intimidating. The plan should fit you: where you are now and where you will be in the future. It is very important to consider how a plan is comprised and to choose a plan that will fit your healthcare needs. The Annual Enrollment Period allows Medicare eligibles to change their Medicare insurance plan, if needed. Theresa Cangemi can help you pick the right Medicare insurance plan for you.
Theresa is also called upon to provide Medicare insurance seminars to non-profit agencies (employees and their clients), at senior centers and libraries, and she teaches at OCM BOCES. She is also available to be hired as a key-note speaker.
Theresa is licensed in the states of Florida and New York to consult and ENROLL clients into insurance plans in the following categories:
- Medicare Insurance:
- Medicare Advantage (or Part C)
- Medicare Supplement (or Medigap)
- Prescription Drug plans (or Part D)
- Life Insurance
- Final Expense Insurance
- Long Term Care Insurance
- Dental Insurance
- Fixed Annuities
- Travel Insurance Coverage
Theresa is not a Medicare Insurance Specialist for one specific insurance company. Rather, she is a licensed independent agent/broker appointed by several insurance companies to offer their insurance plans. Theresa does not work for the federal government or insurance companies. She is an independent agent and a Medicare Insurance Specialist.
Consultations are given at no charge. She earns a commission based on a client’s enrollment in any of the insurance plans listed above, which is paid by the carrier and not the client.
